Does anyone need a new best friend? Sue is Piper’s breeder, a wonderful friend and stellar breeder of French bulldogs. Derek actually interviewed Sue before we decided to purchase Piper in 2021!
I cannot say enough good things about her puppies, Piper does not even move when fireworks go off or thunder, I’m not sure what magic she does to make this happen, but it is wonderful!

I second the statement that she is a phenomenal breeder and person! We welcomed 2 of her boys in 2022 and they are just the sweetest!💕

Susan Willetts Karell thank you for my boys! Well worth the 30+ hours drive round trip!😁

It was apparent from the moment we met you and Don that you both possess a great kindness and passion for the dogs that you own and for the new life’s that you have been entrusted with as the owners of Lowcountry French Bulldogs. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality that you have shared with us from the moment we met. What started out as a trip to select a puppy has developed into a friendship that will last for many years. Our lives have been enriched as a result of our new relationship.
Our search for a new French Bulldog puppy began several weeks after losing our beloved Jack Russell, Terry, which had been part of our family for 16 years.
We have never owned a French Bulldog and settled on the breed after recommendations from owners and research about the breed. Our search led us to Sue and Lowcountry French Bulldogs in Summerville, SC. Our experience has been outstanding. The care and love their dogs are provided is evident when you walk into the nursery and in talking to Sue. We were allowed the opportunity to visit our new puppy prior to taking delivery of her when she was ten weeks old. The puppies are strong, healthy and the breeding process that is used insures good genetics and quality dogs.
The relationship with Lowcountry French Bulldogs does not end when you take delivery of your new puppy, it is the beginning as they will stay in touch as part of their customer service and commitment to their puppy’s success. They even will provide boarding services if needed!
Anyone looking for a French Bulldog to join their family, look no further than Lowcountry Frenchies. They set the bar on what it means to be a quality and professional breeder!!!
UPDATE: we now have 4 of her puppies!

I had been dreaming of a Frenchie for many years, and came upon this Breeder by meeting one of her puppies. I called Sue and asked if I could meet her even though she didn’t have any pups at the time. After meeting her, Bentley and her other Frenchies, it was Love! She answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable-like talking with a friend. After the meeting we made the decision to submit our deposit and anxiously wait for our fur baby. As the months went by Sue kept us informed of the progression of the pregnancy, birth and growth of the litter. We were fortunate to be able to choose a Gorgeous female (my dream dog) with the best temperament and Loving Personality!
Thank you Sue for a wonderful experience. We’ll be back soon for a playmate. It’s totally true what they say about Frenchies – they are like chips – you can’t have just One!!!
